Edmond IRAGUHA was born in Rwanda, southern province, Huye district. He holds a Bachelor degree in Governance and Leadership from the University of Rwanda. He conducted his academic internship in Huye district in the good governance department. Edmond worked at Radio Salus as a volunteer from 2018 to 2022 where he worked on stories focused on mobilizing people to develop themselves and participate in government programs. He produced and presented radio programs that mobilized people to fight against COVID-19 pandemic. He also attended different sets of training: First, the one organized by Sweden’s leading media organization Fojo in partnership with University of Rwanda through School of Journalism and Radio Salus about reporting stories and receiving a certificate of completion; he also attended training session for Sports Journalists about the Rules of the Games (Basketball, Cycling and Volleyball) organized by the Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee in partnership with Basketball, Cycling, and Volleyball Federations and received certificate of completion too. In addition, Edmond was a volunteer at the Red Cross in donating blood and encouraging others to donate from 2017 to 2021. He was also a youth volunteer in the Rwaniro sector from 2015 to 2020. To be CorpsAfrica Volunteer will help Edmond to keep playing his role in the development of Rwanda through serving the community.
