Ahadi Ishimwe was born and raised in Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Kigali Independent University. Before joining CorpsAfrica, she completed her academic internship in local government at the sector level, focusing on Accounting. She regularly visited saving groups and cooperatives in the Bugeshi sector in the Rubavu District. Following her graduation, Ahadi joined youth volunteers in community policing (RYVCP) as a dedicated youth volunteer responsible for serving the community. She also worked as an Enumerator at Base Co & Supply Ltd, a company under RTDA, primarily involved in surveying. Additionally, she received training from MLC Glooming Ltd, participating in a project that involved making artificial hair for individuals suffering from cancer. The company exported these products internationally. Ahadi is deeply committed to giving back to the community and facilitating community development. In September 2022, she joined CorpsAfrica as a Volunteer in Cohort 4, serving in the remote area of the Bugesera District. Her role primarily revolved around facilitating and empowering the local community through collaborative efforts in various activities aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the community. She extended her service into Cohort 5. She considers this extension as a blessing, providing her with another valuable opportunity to continue serving the community, driven by her passion.
