Aînée Parfaite Tuyishimire was born and raised in Rwanda. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, where she studied under the Mastercard/FAWE Rwanda scholars program. She is committed to community development and empowerment. Throughout her academic journey, she gained practical experience through internships at Nyabihu Tea Factory and the Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB). These experiences deepened her understanding of agribusiness and its potential for driving sustainable development. As a YALI Regional Leadership Center alumna, she has been recognized for her commitment to excellence and community service. Her active engagement with YALI, a prestigious program dedicated to nurturing young African leaders, has further honed her leadership skills and global perspective. Proud to serve as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Cohort 4, during her service she actively collaborates with local organizations and community members, engaging in initiatives addressing challenges such as education, health, sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, gender equality, and malnutrition. She is dedicated to utilizing her knowledge, skills, and network to create sustainable change, empower individuals and communities, and drive social and economic development. Her remarkable dedication, academic achievements, extensive community service, and leadership qualities exemplify her commitment to making a positive difference. With her diverse experiences, she is well-equipped to tackle multifaceted challenges and contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
