Divine Ingabire was born and raised in Rwanda. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Nature Conservation from the University of Rwanda’s College of Agriculture Animals Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2019). During her time at the university, she took different leadership positions. She was a class representative and acted as Secretary of Task Force members, where her duties were all about patriotism and advocacy for her colleagues on different issues. She carried out her academic internship at Rwanda Forestry Authority (RFA). During her studies, she was a volunteer at Never Again Rwanda (NAR) and also worked as a Rwanda Youth Volunteer in Community Policing. Divine has also attended different events and summits, such as Youth Connect Africa Summits, and Global Leadership. She also attended training on Critical Thinking and Human Rights at Never Again Rwanda. Before joining CorpsAfrica, she was a volunteer at Nature Rwanda where her responsibilities were to integrate community with nature by ensuring the application of conservation by the citizen into their livelihoods and to act as a catalyst of change in her community. Therefore, she believes that being a CorpsAfrica Volunteer will help her be a part of the change in community livelihood.
