Innocent Uladi is a passionate change-maker with a keen interest in community development. He is a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld where much of his work is on improving access to education for all children. He is a co-founder of an initiative called Her Path which focuses on adolescent girls and young women. Before joining CorpsAfrica, he worked with Lilongwe District Council as a Nutrition and HIV/AIDs Intern where he played a key role in initiating and managing projects through facilitating and strengthening partnerships between development institutions and vulnerable community groups, especially women and children. He is passionate about working with adolescents and this propelled him to join UNICEF as an Adolescent Nutrition Intern where he supported adolescent girls on iron and folic acid supplementation programs. He served with John Hopkins University under one community project as a Community Mobilizer where he supported the AGYW on SRHR. Furthermore, he worked with HealthWise as a Nutrition Officer in 2018 and has interned with Synod of Livingstonia Development Department (SOLDEV), CADECOM, and Mulanje District Hospital. Innocent holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Science in Food Security and Nutrition from the University of Livingstonia and a Diploma in Food Nutrition and Livelihood Security from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). He believes the world can change if everyone learns to ask “What can I do to help?”
