Funani Matemba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). She has worked as a Nutrition Officer Intern under Lilongwe DHO where she amassed skills and knowledge in Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM). During her university days, Funani worked as a MAESTROS Academics Coordinator and a Treasurer for Care4Girls, Bunda chapter. She was also selected as a representative of the African Union University Club for LUANAR. Having worked with several volunteer organizations at LUANAR, Funani wants to continue her volunteer work with CorpsAfrica. She wants to experience life from the rural perspective and help communities take ownership of their development.
