Manuel Katsoka was born and raised in a remote area of Malawi and has dedicated his life to helping rural communities come out of poverty through unique poverty alleviation approaches. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Enterprise Development and Microfinance from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). Before joining CorpsAfrica he worked with the Clinton Development Initiative (CDI), Mission Rabies, and the Malawi Government as an Agribusiness Consultant, Sensitization and Education Officer, and Agribusiness Intern, respectively. In all these experiences, he was responsible for facilitating community engagement and training in entrepreneurship, financial management, and microfinance. He also has experience as an Enumerator for the MwAPATA Institute, a research institution, where he collected data on agriculture, education, economics, and nutrition for policy formulation and analysis. He believes that CorpsAfrica will be a greater platform for him to understand and learn more sustainable ways of alleviating poverty in rural communities.
