Michael Muiya is the Training Officer at CorpsAfrica/Kenya. Michael has a Masters in Design and Bachelor of Arts in Design from the University of Nairobi. He brings on board over 10years of work experience on design application and consultancy, community design approaches, design thinking/Human centered design and sustainable design practices. Muiya is passionate and supports the aspiration of young Afrikans through organizing and facilitating workshops on design thinking and social innovation. He has lectured at Machakos University, Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts where he also served at administration level and involved in community training for different organizations and projects. He has a special interest in the role of design, indigenous knowledge and youth in advancing the development agenda in Africa.
