Angelique Nyirabizeyimana was born in Gicumbi district. She graduated from the University of Rwanda in the School of Agriculture Engineering with a Bachelor of Science honors in Irrigation and Drainage class of 2019. She serves as CorpsAfrica Volunteer in the third group. Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, she got a professional internship at Bridge2Rwanda(B2R) Farms about Conservation agriculture and Foundation For Farming (FFFs). She also received formal training in Community services, faith, and personal and professional development. She did a professional internship at the Rwanda Association of Local Government Authorities as an agriculture extension intern in the Gicumbi district. She was hired as Supervisor in the Reserve Force in Nyabihu and Gicumbi districts in the activities of preventing soil erosion and taking mitigation measures for climate change. She worked with Volunteer Overseas (VSO) in agriculture transformation as a Volunteer in Nyagatare District. Angelique is currently CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Green Coordinator and she believes that working with CorpsAfrica will give her opportunities of keeping contributing to the community’s sustainable development.
