Laisha is an accomplished practitioner with years of experience in leading the acquisition of new funding for international programs. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing projects that provide technical assistance and training services to diverse organizations. Laisha has a proven track record of success in competitive bidding for funding from bilateral government agencies, foundations, and the United Nations entities. Her technical expertise lies in international development, with a focus on areas such as biodiversity conservation, education, early childhood development, child labor prevention, youth engagement, and human trafficking prevention. Laisha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Biology with a minor in Education from the University of Dar-es-Salaam and a Master’s in International and Rural Development from the University of Wolverhampton.
