UFITESE MULIMA Deo Joyeuse is an agricultural economist with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Rwanda (CAVM). She has extensive experience in agriculture, community leadership, and project coordination. As an Agri-finance Credit Officer intern at BRAC Rwanda, she supported over 200 women smallholder farmers, providing financial literacy and agri-finance services to enhance their livelihoods through access to credit. Since 2018, Ufitese has volunteered with the World Scout Organization, leading youth programs, organizing community service projects, and promoting environmental sustainability and social development. Her leadership has been recognized, particularly in mentoring youth and leading initiatives focused on education and first aid. Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, and French, Ufitese is skilled in research tools like SPSS, STATA, GAMS, and GIS. Known for her strong work ethic and dedication to empowering rural communities, she is committed to sustainable agriculture, community development, and youth leadership, as demonstrated by her participation in regional scout forums and leadership summits across East Africa. She is passionate about driving sustainable change.
