Cyprian Wewoli Awiah is based in Tamale, Northern Ghana, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the University for Development Studies. Cyprian has volunteered with organizations such as Amnesty International Ghana, Hope for Future Generations, and Young Health Advocates Ghana, where he focuses on youth-led initiatives and advocating for women and young people living with HIV. He has also played roles in implementing projects addressing and providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services for adolescent girls young women, and young people. Furthermore, Cyprian Wewoli Awiah serves as an advisory member on the Digital Health and Rights Project and represents North and Central Africa, providing technical support for young people’s meaningful engagement in high-level meetings on the Y+ Global Board. Driven by a passion for positive change, learning, and new experiences, Cyprian chose to volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Ghana to further develop his personal growth and professional development while positively impacting the communities he serves.
