Bernadette Mponda holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) Science from Nalikule College of Education. She is driven by a passion for promoting education in rural areas, as well as a deep commitment to community development and philanthropy. Bernadette has experience working with CAMFED and MERP under the Learner Mentor Programme as a Volunteering Core Trainer, and she has also worked as an intern teaching professional at Loyola Jesuit Secondary School. Through these roles, she has developed a well-rounded skill set, including excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to facilitate training sessions.
She served different administrative roles such as a form teacher and a sports mistress during her teaching practice internship at Loyola Jesuit secondary school. She has facilitated learner mentor training, teacher mentor training, head teacher training as well as end-of-quarter refresher meetings with learner mentors whilst volunteering with CAMFED. She was also supervising 20 learner mentors at CAMFED. She remains visionary and keeps her mind open to growth and learning.
