Mtisunge is a graduate of the University of Livingstonia, Ekwendeni campus and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences majoring in Development studies. She is passionate about empowering marginalized communities to realize their potential and strength’s as far as community development is concerned. She interned as a Project Officer at Synod of Livingstonia Development Department (SOLDEV) where she was directly involved in project management, activity implementation, and monitoring, with a huge focus on social development and empowering the local people. She has also interned at the Dowa District Council as a Gender Officer, where she was involved in initiatives that contributed to advancing gender equality initiatives and community engagement programs. In addition to that, she has also worked as a Vice Chairperson for the Makulande Youth Association in the Mzimba district where she worked on initiatives that empower young people and ensure social cohesion hence utilizing the youthful segment in the society. She hopes that her service at CorpsAfrica will help her empower marginalized communities to realize their full potential as far as development is concerned.
