Agnes UWITONZE was born and raised in Rwanda in Kigali city – Gasabo district. In a family of farmers in a rural area of Kigali city in Gasabo district. She is a professional Agribusiness specialist by passion. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honor in Agribusiness at the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Class 2024. She applied to volunteer with CorpsAfrica because she has the will and ability to volunteer. She was the CEO of the Agri-PAZIF Project which was growing white mushrooms. She did some research on chain manufacturing mushrooms. She made a project to make fresh mushrooms that are rich in different vitamins. She was the first in the competition of students who had an idea that had good results in agriculture given to her by the Killimo trust project funded by the Food Agriculture Organization. She is punctual in the work, and she works with will and ability. She has been Digital Ambassadors at the national agency for communication and innovation in Rwanda Information Society Authority. She did training in industrial processing. She is good at processing dairy and wheat products. She knows how to make good dairy and flour products because, during the holidays, she was a Volunteer at Alfa Bread & Milk Processing Company, which has helped her to learn how to use machines for processing. She is also very good at her job, because of her studies. She represents the groups and invites group members to come together to perform their tasks. She knows to do a report well and turns it on the time. During her studies, she was a Class Representative (CP) from 2022 until 2024 and she has various certificates including certificates of completion in Tomato processing from Kilimo Trust; Certificate of completion in food processing (Buckley and milk processing); Certificate of UMUTOZA W’INTORE ZO KURUGERERO; Certificate of completion in modern farming; Certificate of completion in leadership skills; Certificate of First Aids Management. In 2020, She Served as a Youth Volunteer during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Musanze district. In 2022-2023 She worked as a Volunteer in collecting data on digital literacy from RISA (Rwanda Information Society Agency). From 2021 to 2024, she worked as an entrepreneur in agricultural farming, especially in mushroom processing. She believes volunteering is at the core of humanity.
