Edissa NYIRARUKUNDO is a dedicated Data Scientist and Mathematician with a Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences, specializing in Data Science, from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Rwanda. Passionate about the intersection of data, financial mathematics, and community development, Edissa combines her technical expertise with a strong commitment to impactful projects. Edissa’s thesis, “Pricing Option under Black-Scholes Model Using Reinforcement Learning Algorithm,” demonstrates her ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions. Her academic and professional journey highlights her versatility, including her role as a Pollster at AIMS Cameroon and as a Data Collector at Rwanda Meteorological Agency, where she contributed to data observation, quality control, and processing. She has also undertaken projects such as time series analysis of rainfall variations in Rwanda and building a national data intelligence database with AI analytics. Edissa firmly believes that success comes from delivering value to the marketplace. Her true passion is empowering underprivileged communities to overcome their challenges and live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
