Francine NIYONSENGA holds a Bachelor’s degree in Peace Building and Development from the Faculty of Development Studies at PIASS (Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences), Huye campus. Before joining CorpsAfrica, she volunteered for over two years with Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle (VJN), where she developed essential skills such as public speaking, project management, and basic computer skills, which significantly enhanced her confidence, leadership, and communication abilities. During her time at VJN, she was involved in income-generating activities, helping teen mothers and underprivileged women join saving groups and teaching them about hygiene improvement within their homes. As a current Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Rwanda, she is eager to apply her education, leadership, and community service experience to positively impact development projects. She is passionate about promoting sustainable growth in Rwanda through active engagement and collaboration with local communities.
