Nzabandora Venant has over six years of teaching experience across various schools in Rwanda. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a focus on Biology and Geography from the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba, along with a High School Diploma in Education from TTC/GACUBA II (2015). His professional development includes participation in the Aspire Leadership Program from Harvard Business School (January – April 2024), the Global Competence Certificate for STEM Educators from AFS Intercultural Programs USA (May 2024), and a Certificate of Participation in Leadership, Diplomacy, Peace Building, and Entrepreneurship from African Rebirth (May 2024). Additionally, he earned a Digital Marketing Certificate from Build A Generation (2023) and completed the Climate Governance, Diplomacy, and Negotiations Leadership Program with AGNES Africa (July 2024). Venant’s international experience includes his involvement in the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Trevor Noah Education Change Makers cohort 1 at Kenyatta University, Nairobi (June – July 2024), and receiving a certificate on “Enhancing Inclusivity and Accessibility to Climate Technologies for All” from UNITAR (September 2023). He also attended the World Youth Festival 2024 in Sochi, Russia, and was honored as a 2024 HEY Campaign Ambassador for Africa, with a focus on climate action and youth empowerment. These diverse experiences and certifications equip him to drive impactful community development and educational initiatives effectively.
