Yvette Uwimana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Rwanda, where she built a strong foundation in database management, systems analysis, and software development. She is also the founder of the Youth Happy Ladies Forum (YHLF), an organization dedicated to empowering young women through mentorship and networking, supporting them in building professional connections and achieving their career goals.
In her previous role at the Ministry of National Unity & Civic Engagement (MINUBUMWE), she served as a Data Analyst and Data Entry Specialist, managing data registration using the MMIS platform. From 2021 to 2022, she worked with Orange General Spare Parts (OGP), where she maintained and troubleshot instrumentation and managed administrative tasks, including invoicing and document processing. She also completed a professional internship at Muhima Hospital (2020-2021), providing IT support and administration, and served as an Assistant Secretary at AEIR (2018-2020), where she facilitated IT services such as maintenance, networking, and programming.
