Hi, this is Betelhem Tesfaye. She was born in the central region of Ethiopia and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering from Madda Walabu University. She was also certified by GIS and Auto CAD Applications in water resources. Her dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others has been a driving force throughout her academic and professional journey. During her time at university and beyond, she actively participated in youth charity associations, contributing her time and efforts to support students in need, the elderly, and disabled individuals within her community. Her passion for community service and helping others reflects her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those around her. In addition to her humanitarian work, she is passionate about agriculture and sustainable water management. She is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to address pressing challenges in these fields, and she aspires to share her experiences and insights across the continent to promote sustainable development. Now, she serves as a Cohort Two Volunteer for CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia, where she continues to pursue her mission of contributing to the betterment of communities through her dedication, skills, and passion for sustainable solutions.
