Josphat Gitahi is a self-driven and passionate individual with a strong background in Communication and Journalism. With a Bachelor’s degree from Rongo University, he has continuously sought opportunities to utilize his skills and make a positive impact in the world.
His journey in the media industry began at Kiheo TV, where he served as a Breakfast show Presenter, reporter, Social media assistant, and Sales/Marketing assistant. This experience not only honed his presentation and communication skills but also taught him the importance of teamwork and adaptability.
His next stop was at Jambu TV, where he continued to grow as a Breakfast show presenter and Sales/Marketing assistant. Being a part of a start-up media company allowed him to be creative and innovative in his approach, and he is proud to say that he played a significant role in its growth.
His passion for youth development and advocacy led him to join The National Youth Council, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports. As a Communication and Advocacy Officer, he was involved in various projects, such as photography, branding, and writing reports and newsletters. Through this role, he was able to make a difference in the lives of young people in Kenya.
