Nelly Iminza is a Cohort 3 Volunteer at CorpsAfrica/Kenya, serving the Kitui community. A Mathematics and Computer Science graduate from the Technical University of Mombasa. Throughout her 4-year course, she was equipped with data analysis skills, modeling, and visualization. She strongly believes that data-driven strategies can bring about the best solutions to some of the problems the world is facing today. She can use statistical tools such as R and SPSS for data analysis and is open to learning new skills. Previously, she served as an intern at the Civil Registry Services, in the statistics and IT department where she monitored the births and death rates of residents in Mombasa. In addition to that, she has a keen interest in serving communities and is passionate about making the world a better place. Nelly is a good conversationalist and always looking for new ways to socialize with people from different backgrounds. She is a creative mind and she can make house decors out of anything. During her free time, she prefers to connect with nature. Going for forest walks, parks, and animal reserves.
