Modou Lamin Njie, Bookkeeper for CorpsAfrica/Gambia, has over 10 years of experience in accounting and
administration. He served in various sectors in the Gambia ranging from Education, Telecommunication
services, and community development activities. Due to his experience in accounting, he was elected as the
Treasurer of his community Sports development committee voluntarily. He has managed charity
funds from England at a school in his Community.
Modou Lamin is a trained first aider and serving volunteer of the Gambia Red Cross Society. He is
engaged in peace-building and conflict-resolution advocacy, through education and training with the
Peace Ambassadors-The Gambians within the Gambia and by extension in Senegal and Guinea Bissau.
Until he joined CorpsAfrica, he had worked as an accounts officer and Assistant Human Resources
Manager (HR) at a Cruise Ship Crew recruiting agency in the Gambia for Royal Caribbean International
and V-Ships Cruise lines. He has a vast knowledge of computer software such as Quick-in & QuickBooks
accounting software, Microsoft MS Word, Excel, and Power. He holds a BSC degree in Accountancy from
the University of the Gambia and also an Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance from the
Management Development Institute the Gambia
