Alumni Network

CorpsAfrica’s Alumni Network is a vibrant community dedicated to supporting alumni as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. We strive to empower our alumni through various projects, workshops, events, and initiatives that foster personal and professional growth. By cultivating a strong sense of loyalty within the CorpsAfrica family, our alumni become catalysts for positive change within our organization and communities.

Each CorpsAfrica office maintains a chapter of alumni who organize regular meet-ups, trainings, and continued support for active Volunteers and communities. The Alumni Network runs two key organization-wide programs: the Matching Scholarship Program and the Alumni Entrepreneurship Incubator. Both programs contribute to alumni successfully launching their careers.

Alumni Programs

Entrepreneurship Incubator

The Entrepreneurship Incubator, a flagship initiative of the CorpsAfrica Alumni Network, provides fully funded high-level business training and seed funding to CorpsAfrica alumni. Open to all alumni-owned or co-owned job-creating ventures, this program leverages the impact of CorpsAfrica service, creating meaningful jobs and substantial value for communities across Africa.

Matching Scholarship

The Matching Scholarship Program provides additional funding (up to $5,000 USD) to alumni who have secured other financial support to ensure they are able to pursue higher education at regarded colleges and universities around the world. In the first year, the program contributed over $80,000 to 21 alumni in pursuit of both Masters and Doctoral degrees.

Support Our Work

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: creating opportunities for youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty and build resilience. We recruit motivated volunteers to live and work in remote, low-income areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and by doing so gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and rural communities to help each other.
