Priscillah Nganga studied for a Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying Technology at The Technical University of Kenya where she gained skills in humanitarian open mapping to assist communities in disaster preparation and management using geospatial data. She has since contributed to various mapping projects worldwide and was recognized as a 2023 YouthMappers Leadership Fellow for her efforts in building resilient African communities using mapping. Priscillah is also passionate about STEM education and has collaborated with various NGOs to promote STEM & Robotics among high school students in Kenya. She has represented Kenya in local and international STEM & Entrepreneurship challenges, gaining awards and experiences in leadership and innovation. As a CorpsAfrica volunteer, she hopes to use her skills and experience to promote community-led development to empower and advance Kenyan rural communities.
