Diana Rashida Rashid is a Culture and Tourism graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University
of Science and Technology; she also holds a certificate in Tools and Methods for Monitoring,
Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning from the Centre for Capacity Building and Innovation
(CCBI) of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She is an alumnus
of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI West Africa) and the Mastercard Foundation
Scholars’ program at KNUST. She did her service at the MasterCard/UAC KNUST office. She
has volunteered with organizations such as CAMFED Ghana as a learner guide; she also serves as
a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERP) team member and volunteer; RISE
(Rhodes Trust) as a project reviewer; and United Way Ghana as a volunteer. She is currently a
Resolution Project Fellow and co-founded an AI-driven tech startup known as Ensuc Ai Company
Ltd. (PerculiarAI), which is focused on the early detection of cocoa pod disease in Ghana. She
currently serves as a mentor for the Mastercard Baobab Platform Mentorship Program, where she
provides one-to-one mentorship for Africa’s next generation of leaders. She served as the General
Secretary for the KNUST Scholars community for the 2021–2022 academic year and is currently
the General Secretary for the YALI Alumni Association Ghana 2023–2024.
