John Kaguna is a dynamic young Ghanaian dedicated to reshaping the narrative of development in Ghana and globally through networking and volunteering. As a fervent advocate for youth and women empowerment, he has spearheaded various initiatives aimed at improving the social and economic functioning capabilities of the vulnerable in society. With a profound belief in the talents of the youth, he has championed projects aimed at harnessing and showcasing these talents. Recognizing the power of social media, he utilizes it as a tool to address adolescent and rural development issues and foster positive life transformations. Mr. Kaguna’s commitment to youth, women, research, education, advocacy and rural development is further exemplified by his previous role as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the department of Geography and Rural Development KNUST, Enumerator for the West African Sciences Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) Lead for Ghana Fellow, Majority Leader KNUST Student’s Parliament House, Deputy Judicial Chair Geography Student’s Association KNUST. Beyond his organizational affiliations, he actively engaged as a Volunteer with EduSpots, Days for Girls International, Aban Center for Global Policy and the Local Conference of Youth on Climate Change. He is currently serving as a community-centric development facilitator with CorpsAfrica/Ghana.
