Mustapha Issahaku holds a degree in Education from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana with a major in English. He is passionate about educational policy and curriculum design. He is an alumnus of the Reeves Scholars Program (RSP), a reciprocal visitation exchange program between teacher candidates at Michigan State University, USA, and University of Cape Coast, Ghana; a program which has prepared him to become a global educator who is aware of the importance of context, diversity, inclusion and empathy in education. Before serving with CorpsAfrica, he had his National Service at the College of Distance Education (CoDE), UCC. He also volunteered with Apex Human Consult, NCCE, and the West African Centre for Counter-Extremism (WACCE) to offer skills training and mentorship to young people in deprived communities. Mustapha believes that “building bridges” and connecting people would make the world a lot more friendly.
